It used to be OK but with the new season they are attempting to snag the cool factor using passive shock and subtle wit. (But when I see them trying too hard, I am wont to flip it. But thats just me)
However, the folks out there have been more lenient. Weeds started its fourth season off on a real high, becoming the network’s most-watched telecast on record. It’s said that on Monday night weeds averaged 1.3 million total viewers which broke the record held by a Season 2 episode of “Dexter” 1.2 million that aired in 2007.
(Now Dexter was something I started to like subsequently. The monologues were the best!)
Media is reporting that Weeds has seen its season premieres grow from the time it debuted. The show pulled in an audience of 488,000 viewers, while Season 2’s debut averaged 578,000 and Season 3 started out with 824,000.
All these numbers are just for the TV. DVD and bootleg torrents is another block.
This time Mary-Louise Parker is back for more in the new season. Last season, widowed pot-dealing mom Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) was last seen helping set her California town ablaze. So the question we all want to know is where will she relocate her family in season four? (So far what I could make out she’s been hiding in a shack with her usual flock and has been running errands to Tijuana for the Mexican hood).
