If you are a fan of extreme sports, then brace yourself. If you are a fan of extreme surfboarding brace even tighter. The world’s most premier and tough surf boarding season is about to open. That’s right, the same event in which the sports jock Jordy Smith performs!
This year it is being held in Cape Town and with its trademark selection of most treacherous waves around the beach this competition is not for kids. In fact this competitive event would help separate men from boys.
Basically the tournament is called O’Neill Cold Water Classic Series and this is the third event so far. Which makes is relatively very new championship with barely any history behind it to drag it down.
The competition is going to be help from June 20 until June 24, and the world’s best surfers including South African World Tour star and event ambassador, Jordy Smith, will venture to the rugged surf spots scattered around the Cape Peninsula to brave the elements.
