June 2009 NY State Earth Science Regents

The New York State Earth Science Regents exam was scheduled recently and many took this regents exam. Students had worked quite hard for this and many had spent hours pouring over the assignments and books. Now all their hard work and patience would come to fruition.

Were you one of the tough cookies to take this exam this NY State Earth Science Regents exam in June? How did you fair in this gruelling examination?

I have some views from my friends on this.

I’m not gonna lie.. i thought that crap was hard, and i doubt i passed. I’m one of those people who say if they failed, they probably did. Certainly not one of those people who say they are definitely going to fail and then get a  90 percentile. I hate those losers.

Anway, do you know when and where the answers to the June 2009 NY State Earth Science Regents will be posted? Also, could you guys please post some questions you remember and then the right answer for it.

Another reader replied that she took the NY State Earth Science Regents exam in 2007 and got a 67.  God must have definitely been keeping an eye on me that day because honestly I have absolutely no clue as to how I passed. I was among the back benchers who never applied myself in the class, always came late and partied hard during the night. I also never paid attention when the concepts were explained in the class. I just took chemistry and I know that this time, not even god could help me.

Wow. 2009 Earth science exam was deffinatley harder than previous exams. I’ve taken the old regents as practice and have done fairly well, but this year’s exam was like..woah.. what kind of questions are you asking???

it was a fairly easy test. the easiest one in the past years. the only challenging part was the lab portion. although, i had an extreamly good teacher, everything was on the refrence table. i really dont see how anyone could fail this. just use the refrence table….

    7. Girlie says:

i thought this test was so easy. I was done after an hour, and I’m confident I did very well.

The regents…was harder than I thought it would be. It was deffinetly harder than previous exams yes, because on all of the practice from 2008 and 2007 i got a 95 and higher on ALL. This regents made me stress out a lot from studying to trying not to forget something. Im retaking my algebra because i got an 85 and im hoping i get 90+ on the earth science with a 15/16 on the practicum…

my earth science teacher tom donahue from mahopac told me that i had a better shot if i didnt show up to the regents and that i didn’t have a chance in hell in passing. He also warned my fellow piers that some of the question may seem like he never taught us the material but in “some” way he did. I got a 58 on the regents and had to take summer school. Just a reflection on Mahopacs fine staff and teaching
