Work Opportunity Tax Credit

The work opportunity tax credit, also called popularly WOTC Program, has been expanded to include two new focus groups: “disconnected youths” and unemployed veterans.

The Internal Revenue Service has released a memo specifying who can claim benefits as a member of these groups, plus assistance on how employers who hire members of those groups can qualify to take the credit.
