Time to finalize who will be splashing around in water on behalf of US in Bejing during the biggest sporting event on earth – Olympics.
Beginning Sunday, the best swimmers in the country will converge on Qwest Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. In about a week, 8 days to be precise, nearly four years of training, sacrifice and hard work will come to a head. The top two finishers in each event have their dreams realized in the form of a ticket to the Beijing Olympics, while everyone else will wait for the next 4 years.
Its going to be a day of chlorine and tears. You can bet on that. But the tears are not going to be because of chlorine.
