Summer means sun and nothing draws people out of their homes like a good bright sun. Everybody loves wearing summer dresses and getting a nice glowing tan.
Another caveat is the festivals taking place. There is the Cedarburg Strawberry festival and the Cherry blossom festival just to name a few.
This weekend, Cedarburg is celebrating 23 years of wallowing in the red with black dots. And lots of whipped cream. Whats more, live bands and a plein-air painting competition will entertain visitors on the streets of Cedarburg’s downtown historic district. [For some reason, every downtown worth its salt and probably as old as 25 years likes to call itself historic! There is some serious redefinition required for History in United States paralance].

And not to be left behind, check out the celebration of Japanese-American culture, food, music, dance, and arts & crafts at Sakura square at 19th and lawrence. This is an annual affair and hasĀ been held almost every year.
