Dwayne Lewis Goodrich is an Illinois native who played professional football as a corner back for the Dallas Cowboys. Dwayne also excelled at college football scene, he played for Tennessee and from there got drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of 2000 NFL Draft.
The interesting bit is that Dwayne Goodrich is currently in prison as he was charged with and convicted for two counts of homicide.
The case gets even more interesting when you hear the details of it. Some time back in 2003, Dwayne Goodrich was involved in a hit and run accident. What happened was that some folks were trying to rescue people in a burning car on the interstate when they were stuck by Goodrich.
The victims claim that Goodrich was driving at speed around or above 100 mph but an investigator who reconstructed the scene said Dwayne could not have been above 54 mph.
However in that trial Dwayne Goodrich was convicted for leading to fatal incidents involving two lives and was sentenced to prison for about 7 years. Quite unfortunate.
