Medical Marijuana Legalization MI

marijuana leaf Medical Marijuana Legalization MI A lot of people in America’s motor car state – Michigan – never thought that it would happen within their life time. Now they can’t wait to get started all thanks to President Obama. (But I am sure many, especially Republicans and conservatives, are going to decry this move but whats new).

I am neither a supporter nor approver because I think I have not studied this issue in detail to pick a side.  President Obama has himself claimed in his book that he has smoked this plant and now we are witnessing a legalization that was passed making at least the medicinal uses legal.

This is what a newspaper had to report -

But, “the day” came Nov. 4, 2008, when voters made smoking marijuana — or in other common terms, “pot,” “a joint,” “a blunt,” “hemp,” “grass,” “weed,” “Mary Jane,” or “reefer” — legal under some medical circumstances.

Basically these are all the names that the stuff is known in popular language in United States culture. The thing has been glorified about in movies, songs, painting, art, culture etc but until now if you indulged in it, you could face prison etc.

In Michigan they have started the registration for all those who want to sign up in the marijuana registry identification card.

And the process is so speedy that if you are approved, you will have all the paper work completed and ready to roll in just five days.
