TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and it is an examniation that is carried out annually by the Anna University for those who wish to pursue masters level education like MBA, MCA etc. and many more.
What is the eligibility criteria for TANCET:
Graduates in any discipline under the 10+2+3/4 pattern or a diploma holder
Candidates appearing for the final exam may also apply
TANCET Application Forms information:
Candidates can get the application forms in these following ways:
A. In person – on payment of Rs. 300/- by cash or DD (Rs. 150 for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) from the co-ordinating centers or selected branches of State Bank of India.
B. Through post – by sending a DD of Rs. 350/- (Rs. 200/- in case of Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) along with a requisition letter and self-addressed slip to the Secretary, TANCET Examination Centre, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025.
C. Through Internet – by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tancet2009
For every extra program, students need to enclose an additional demand draft of Rs. 300 (Rs. 150 for Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates).
TANCET Examination Branches:
The TANCET 2009 will be held at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy, Tirunelveli and Vellore.
