Pootie Tang is a 2001 ragamuffin comedy film, directed by comedian and writer Louis C.K.
The film was inspired after a comedy caricature show which the writer/director did on The Chris Rock Show. The fictional character Pootie Tang is a caustic impression of the stereotyped characters who appeared in old blaxploitation films.
The funny part is that the characters funny speech, which in some manner resembles closely to pidgin, is extremely hard to understand by the regular viewers but for whatever reason other characters in the film have no problem understanding him.
The movie was not critically welcomed. Below are some of the quotes -
