Katie Stam, who is a student in Indiana has won the Miss America 2009 beauty pageant. This years grand finale consisted of Denim Clad beauties which is totally different from how the event has been happening in the past.
This year the even for markedly informal and the theme was to basically let your hair down and have a good time. The venue for the ceremony was in Las Vegas, in the world famous Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
