Snowzilla project has officially been called off. Government officials in Anchorage have given a cease-and-desist order to constructors of the giant snowman that made appearances the last three years in an east Anchorage neighborhood.
The giant snowman was a crowd favortite with photographers and camera crew from various countries came calling from all around the world.
Snowzilla Specs
Snowzilla was started sometime in 2005 and rose as tall as 16 feet. Snowzilla had a corncob pipe and a carrot nose and two eyes made out of beer bottles.
Powers family had the Snozilla initiated in their front yard and the man of the house Billy says his children collected snow from neighbor homes to increase the height and width.

The country is at war, we are in a depression (sorry folks, I call it as I see it, and we PASSED recession a LONG time ago!), and someone, somewhere near the North Pole, takes the time to make a huge snowman at Christmastime. The snowman brings smiles to peoples faces, stimulates a local economy (the reporters from around the world HAVE to fly in, sleep and eat somewhere right???), and a Senator (THEY and their CONGRESSMEN counterparts ARE part of the problem!)wants to ban it?!?!?!? No wonder we are in the trouble we are in! These idiots run the Country!
It is Alaska, the thing isn’t going to melt anytime soon, and when it starts to, put a boundary fence around it to keep people back and safe.
