Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss was born in 1975 in Manhattan, New York and by profession she is an American fashion designer. Some in the media would also call her a socialite as if that is a profession.
Shoshanna attended a girls only high school in New York City on the Upper East Side and graduated in 1993, after which she started her college in DC but soon shift to UCLA. (Go Bruins!)
Fame came to her early as at the age of 17 Shoshanna started dating the stand up comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The pair was together for about four years after which one of them dumped the other. (Jury is still out on this one).
On May 2003, Lonstein married Joshua Gruss, who at that time was working as a financier and philanthropist. This guy has an estimated worth of half a billion dollars. Wow, quite a catch.
But Shoshanna was no penny picnher. She borrowed some money from her dad, and this is before her marriage, and started a clothing company for women who have a heavy bust but slim waist. Just like her. Guess what, she made a fortune out of that.
