Obama’s New Chief Of Staff – Mona Sutphen

The newly minted President Elect Barack Obama has announced some new additional key White House staff as the Democrat’s transition team works over time to fill out the senior ranks of his administration.

Here are some new positions that just got filled – Pete Rouse will be serving as senior adviser to the president, and Mona Sutphen and Jim Messina were both called up to serve as deputy chiefs of staff.

Rouse — who has been Obama’s chief of staff while Obama served in US Senate — has worked for disparate members of Congress for more than 3 decades, including former Democratic leader Tom Daschle, whom he served for almost 19 years.
