William R. Jarrett, is an Executive Vice President and Chief Audit Executive since 2007. He is also formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer from 2005 to 2007, and Senior Vice President, Risk Management, prior to 2005.
Not able to confirm this but I think he is married to Valerie Jarrett. Now Valerie is in the limelight because she happens to be on Obama’s transition team and they are looking to quickly reverse some of Bush’s policies on Stem cell research, oil and drilling etc.
Valerie Jarrett, co-chair of the Obama transition team, said the first lady Michelle Obama, would focus on her two daughters and has no interest in a seat at her husband’s decision-making table.
Valerie Jarrett also told NBC television that Michelle Obama would first work to settle her daughters into their new life at the White House. Then, Jarrett said, the next first lady wanted to help women juggle a career and motherhood, assist military spouses and promote volunteerism.
Valerie seems to be in a commanding position at Obama’s transition team. Way to go Valerie.

Yes, William Robert Jarrett was married to Valerie Jarrett but not the one you speak of. Dr. William Robert “Bob” Jarrett was married to Valerie 1983-88. He is now deceased (19 Nov 1993).
