A TV reporter for a Twin Cities television network was recently taken on a downtown trip on probable-cause second-degree drunken driving over the weekend.
Beth McDonough was earlier arrested in August 2007 for gross-misdemeanor drunken driving and was on probation for that sentence.
McDonough, 40, a crime reporter for KMSP-TV, Ch. 9, was arrested Saturday morning after she allegedly was involved in a property-damage crash in Golden Valley and stopped in Minnetonka.
I thought once you get DWIs or police issues, its tough to get a regular job. Its an extremely bad idea to drive when you are drunk cuz not only are you endangering your own life but those of others around you for no fault of theirs.
Extremely irresponsible behavior which warrants her firing from her job.
