Jacksonville’s Matt Jones had one of the most memorable career during what has easily been the best season of his games. So, why is he available in over half of SN leagues?
Ya’ll remember when Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Matt Jones landed in the back seat of a police cruiser after being busted with cocaine, Jones seemed to be on his way out of Jacksonville, if not the entire league. Thats the easiest way to get lobbed out of the million dollar contracts and NFL leagues, getting busted for drugs.
All this comes at a terrible time for owners and fans alike. He caught eight passes (tying a career high) for 117 yards and a touchdown against the Browns last week, and Jacksonville faces Cincinnati and Detroit the next two weeks.
I’ll keep you posted on the details of the suspension verdict but things look pretty bleak for the Matt the football guy. Nobody likes to have a drug offender in their midst. Its bad for the fans, for the advertisers and sponsors alike.
