Many think that they are not sure what edge face paint can give players but I think it can provide scare tactics to the opponents. After all Maori warriors are known to draw scary paint on their faces to shock and awe the opponent. Also, the philosophy could be that its war paint and it helps them prepare for battle.
Take a look at Brander Carter from Texas Tech, who also happens to be scorching the Week 9 NFL Power Rankings. I am sure the look makes him more intimidating to his competitors. You don’t want to mess with a guy who looks like he is a pagan and would boil you right there and make a feast out of you.
