Boston Herald is reporting that Casey Anthony could face murder charges as her case goes to grand jury for considerations.
Prosecutors today are expected to present the case against Casey Anthony — the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie — to members of a grand jury who will decide whether she will face more serious charges, possibly murder.
The 22-year-old mother is the main suspect in the disappearance of her daughter, who was reported missing on July 15. She told detectives that she last saw Caylee in mid-June when she left the girl with a baby sitter. When Anthony returned later, both Caylee and the baby sitter were gone, she said. Authorities have not been able to find the nanny, and they question whether she exists.
Now my question would be unless the mother confesses or if no body is found, I don’t think there could be any case made to convict Casey. But I am hoping that the jury takes all evidence into consideration and deliberates over it before coming to a decision. I know this case is extremely emotionally charged but lets mould the justice to behave based on our emotions. What say you readers.

I have been watching Nancy Grace every day since this Anthony story has been unraveling. Tonight, watching Casey Anthony walking into the court room, I wanted to reach into the tv set and actually slap that woman into submission. How can any mother be so cold? I am wondering about the Grandparents and Uncle as well. The thought of the remains of that beautiful little girl lying in a cardboard box breaks my heart. What kind would make people be so cold hearted? If, she did not want that little girl the best thing she could have done was have given her up for adoption, there are plenty of people in this world that would have given anything to have a child as beautiful as that one. I don’t think the death penalty would be to harsh for this woman, she is apparently suffering from what I call the “Lack of Attention” syndrome. She was jealous of a child getting the attention she so badly wanted. I can’t say a kind word about this woman. Than attention is called to the grandparents, what in the hell do they need immunity for? If they knew or had any idea that this child was already gone, by god they should have told officials where she was, they are in my eyes as guilty as the actual person who perpetrated the murder, they covered up if they had any knowledge and so did the Uncle if he knew. Don’t give me the story of the poor grieving grandparents, it’s not going to wash. As for accidental overdose,,,who would drug a child, oops…I take that back, apparently Casey did so she could party and sleep around. My guess is the night she partied at that club where the pics were taken, that child was probably in the trunk of her car. Is the woman mentally ill? No, she is someone who has never grown up and felt the need for all the attention and she is now getting what she was seeking. I think the whole family is crazy!
The prosecution should seek the death penality in this case and toss immunity for the grandparents and the uncle if he sought it right out the window. If, they had any prior knowledge and did not step forward with the information, than by god, they need to be held accountable for their actions as well. If they have a conscience than I hope they never get another decent nights sleep or another day of peace.
Caylee is in the loving hands and care of the Angels tonight. Something her mother was incapable of giving this little girl was love. Looking at the film clip with her sitting on her great grandfather’s lap was probably one of the few times she actually felt love, but there was also a look in her eyes that reminded me of terror. Heaven knows what fate waited for her after she was out of the sight of her grand-parents. I have many questions about what life was like in that household. One of the primary ones would be why the grand-parents did not question where she spent her nights or why they did not demand that she leave the child with them if she was going to stay away. The second question is why they did not demand to meet this so called person who was suppose to be caring for this child while the mother worked an imaginary job. I know if I was a grand-parent I sure as hell would demand to know what was going on. God help her if I were on that jury or if I were the prosecutor in this case. I would nail her to the cross. Life imprisionment would be like a country club for this “nut job’, she has already had top treatment, demanding and receiving.
It’s too bad that they do not allow “public stoning”, placing her in a public square letting the public throw rocks at her and let her feel the pain and torment. She would certainly be getting the attention alright, but with it would be a slow and very painful termination to a life of useless, lying unproductive member of society. As for the grand-parents and the uncle, it is very difficult to find much sympathy toward them, they are either stupid or the best actors in the history of mankind. If my child had left the house and I had not been in contact with them for a period of less than a week I would have been out there looking for them, and I certainly would have been going after my grand child. What kind of monster would place a child in a garbage bag and toss them in a field like a piece of trash? God help her and the family, I hope they never find a moment of peace or a night of sleep without nightmares! I am sure they will probably try to come up with an insanity plea as her defense, this woman is not crazy, she is a cold, hard hearted calculating bitch that deserves everything bad and more. As for the grand-parents and the Uncle, if they feel any kind of remorse and love for this child, they need to get their rears in gear and give her a proper Christian burial. Remembering it was their demon spawn that ended the short life of an innocent baby. If they knew about this and covered it up, they are as guilty as she is because they knew and did nothing about it. Iwatch Nancy Grace just about every night. I like Nancy had a child late in life, I was almost 36 when my beautiful,intelligent daughter was born.. Now 28 years later I CAN’T immagine how I would live if something happened to my child. Iwould have no reason to live if something happened to her. My mother gave me to my grand mother, her mom , the day I was born, and i have had my real mother stand in my face, curse me and tell me how much she hated me because I took he mom and dad away from her. So I have experience with this type of mentality. Casey hated Calee because of the attention this beautiful child got from the grandfather {she’s not daddy’s little girlany more Calee has captured that place} thegrandmother { she let’s Casey know that they would like to have Calee so to punish her mother again because she thinks Caylee has taken her birth rite se will keep the child away from the family, not letting them talk to her by phone or other wise, to punish all involved. Casey hated Calee just as much as her family loved her. She struck out at all of them taking the childs life so she could retain her RIGHTFUL place as the center of her families life where she thought she should be. Even her brother catered to his baby sister acts as if she is a princess. You know when Calee got all the attention from uncle Lee that didn”t go over to well with Casey. I cannot believe it will take 2 to 3 years to prosecute Casey. It looks like a slam dunk to me!!! I feel sorry for George, but Cindy and Lee have known this all along. I think they kept George out of the loop. I doubt he will ever recover from this. I do not believe they should get immunity, well maybe George should , after all he did appear before the grand jury and you know that was killing him. There is no punishment good enough for Casey. I hope she gets life without parole and gets put in general population. That would be the worst punishment for her until she stands before Almighty God for judgment. Well, anyone saw Lee’s dipostion, I caught two lies out of him. 1. He states Casey took Caylee up the stairs to the babysitter, which casey said she only dropped her off in front of the stairs. 2. He states he never heard of Gonz. Until July, when casey states of her in June. These people are so bound to be under Cindy’s cruel control thats its garbage. God will punish all those who hide the truth of any of this. We all pay consquences for all wrong doing in ones life. I think Casey did it, and she never could have imagined all the publicity this case would garner. Casey’s grandmother said it all: Casey hates Cindy more than she ever loved Caylee. So to get back at Cindy, Casey killed Caylee. Pure and Simple. And now the family is circling the wagons around Casey to show that they support her and believe in her. What crap. She hasn’t been convicted yet. The only thing you know is what to media tells you, what sells. Stop and think, what if that was you and your child was missing? What if you were sitting in jail, in lock up because every woman in that jail wants to kill you, most likely because they were abused or abandon when they were children, and you DIDN’T do it?
If she did it the only punishment she will get is the death. If she is sentenced to prison, she will adjust. No one sits in jail and thinks about how bad they were. Don’t ever believe that. They live in a little society with families, friends and bad guys, (the cops). The can have visits, packages and even sex, if you want it.

it amazes me how quick everyone is to judge. the media has made a mockery of this case and casey will not have a far trial because of it. i am a true believer in innocent before proven guilty. people are so unhappy with themselves and their own lives, that they sit in waiting for something like this to happen, helps take the light off their own miserable lives.
I am a mother myself of a six year old, GOD FORBID IF ANYTHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO HER LET ALONE ME BEING THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT AS HER MOTHER.
somthing about this sad story just doesn’t make since, and that is why i am intelligent enough to wait for all the evidence before i cast my judgement on her.
I agree with Joy and Sam about the media feeding the fire. Please realize that it’s their job and they get paid the big bucks to report the way they do. This is a horrific case about a mother who possibly killed her baby that we have grown to love and mourn over the months even though we are not directly connected. We have watched in dismay, anger, and sadness all the evidence that the media has been allowed to give us. The speculation, the judgmental accusations, the quarreling and everything else to make us become the judge, jury and executioners in our minds and thoughts. If this woman killed her child she will NEVER get away with it no matter if she is convicted and executed, left to inmates or is free to walk in public. She will never be free!!!! She has made her choices under extreme illness and I can not even phathom what she was thinking at the time of her child’s death if she did it. Caylee, you on the other hand are free of all turmoil and may you bask in His presence forever and live in peace.
I don’t understand your comment that you don’t think a case could be made against Casey! There can’t be any doubt in anyone’s mind who has a brain that she is guilty. Just the fact that she has lied about EVERYTHING, didn’t bother reporting her child missing and that she didn’t even appear upset afer the time Caylee supposedly was taken proves she did it in my book.
Of course she did it, but the justice system has created many loop holes. In Casey’s case she had asked her mother for some mental care, and Cindy denied her, so defense will be skits, bi-polar, plus the Caylee’s body turns up after a thorough combing of the area, so someone else has been an accomplice, or rather someone else murdered Caylee. The public is not going to get what they want here- a public linching, aggravating as hell, but that is my forecast.
I have watched this on Nancy Grace from the start. I can not believe that there are people out there that really conceive that she may be innocent. I also have worked in the Mental Health field for 14 years. Casey is not your basic client. If anything she has a personality disorder called Borderline. Please look it up on the web, it is most often in females. It is scary and let me tell you, they are the most difficult to treat, because they keep uping the anty! And they are game players. The winner is the only matter to them, not the game or who gets hurt. please do some educational reading and get info about Borderline Personality Disorder. You will truely be amazed.
What i dont get is if the mother didnt want her daughter why didnt she give her to the grandparents or adoption i dnt get it? Please contact me

I agree wholeheartedly with you. At first I thought she was better off with the Anthonys but look how Casey turned out. The lying was detected within them from the beginning. Something was up with them shortly after the 911 call. It would have been better for Caylee to have been with a loving family who really had her best interest at heart and not theirs. It’s too late now but how many others out there are in this same position of not wanting their children. I pray they will consider an alternative to murder!
Has anyone out there (honestly) had a teen pregnancy that sent your world into shock…literally…I can thoroughly empathize with Casey, not only was she scared out of her mind, she had a demanding neurotic mother who forced her into keeping a child she KNEW she didn’t want. The emotional and physical toll that pregnancy does to a young girl has never been understood. It happened to me in the sixties and believe me I have never really recovered!!! So I don’t believe that she in fact killed her daughter but she does suffer from extreme anxiety and emotional stress…Casey, I understand!!
In addition, just because society thinks we should all love children, we females shouldn’t feel obligated to absolutely adore the little brats…not to mention the money it costs…so for the women who are afraid to speak their mind I said it..also for the mothers who wished that hadn’t been.
Casey Anthony is a disgrace. She deserves to have done to her exactly what she did to that sweet baby girl. I was 16 when i got pregnant my son is now 8 and I have three kids and one on the way im 24 and the fact that she didn’t want her daughter is no excuse for what she did she is a monster and any one who thinks she is innocent should fry with her.
And another thing she was 19 when she got pregnant or around there that is old enough to know when you play you pay. No empathy here.

diana, yes as a matter of fact, i do know exactly how it feels to be a teen and be preg. 15 yrs. in fact. all becuz i had a mother who never told me squat about sex…let alone birth control. all i ever knew is that i wasnt as good as anyone else, i was bad, etc. so…i thought i was supposed to do what some jackass boy wanted me to. then, i was driven to a clinic for an “”exam”", by my mother. the “”exam”" turned out to be an abortion. when i heard the nurse say that word, i left, only to be dragged and threatened by my mother back inside. thannk God for security. then i was told that if i had the baby i would raise it alone without ANY help. that’s what i did. i got my GED and 2 assoc. degrees and a BS in elem. Education and am a first grade teacher. My daughter is now 29. i put her through college, as well as myself. I NEVER HAD ANY HELP…ESPECIALLY LIKE CASEY THE KILLER HAD. I NEVER HAD A YOUTH. I NEVER GOT TO PARTY. I NEVER GOT NEW CLOTHES. I NEVER GOT TO DATE. BUT!!!!!I GOT MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER. so yea, i know all about beinga teen mom. You are full of shit like casey, and you both are irresponsible and feel no accountabilty for our actions of getting pregnant. it is very sad to hear you write as if you regret your child(ren). neither of you ever deserved the priveledge of smelling that soft hair or stroking their soft skin.

i watch nancy grace all the time and i cant believe that the law cannnot get the truth out of her. all i know is what she has done to that innocent little girl was disgusting and you showed no remorse for anything you’ve done, all i can say is god don’t like ugly and believe me your day will come.
