I love the idea of yard sales, of doing them and getting rid of stuff, of earning some pocket change, but honest to god I hate the idea of going to one. My closest experience of a yard sale is checking out thrift stores and that too only because I was new to America and wanted to explore how people lived here, what they brought back in the day, what they are trying to rid, what kind of books they read or VHS movies they saw etc etc.
However now I have came across a cool concept of a yardsale website called 127Sale.com about the Endless Yard sale which runs all the way from Ohio down to Alabama. Check it out and you mind just find something that you have been looking for or most likely had not been looking for.
Find Video and Map below
The Endless Yard sale will run from August 7th – 10th this year, and runs an extraordinary 630 miles through five different states. There are literally over 500,000 people who attend, and probably tens of millions of dollars in merchandise sold each year. Below is the map of the official route for this years sale. It certainly does seem almost endless:
Also, I came across a video for this yard sale, I am posting it here just to give you an idea of what it is like. If you know a better video or if you have your own video that you will like to promote, let me know:
