		<description>What TCS has done is indeed very harsh. Now other IT firms are in stride with this decision. 

To you question Dei, HR personnels are never laid off, but terminated or is forced to resign. 

Also, scope for HR personnels are very limited in the IT sector atleast. They act as the face of the Company, but decisions do not lay in their hands. Sorry to mention this hard fact but this is what is true.</description>

I wonder why is any HR never laid off? Do they not have a performace criteria?</description>
