The holiday shopping season is upon us, with Black Friday right around the corner. But stores are already hyping up the holiday deals with pre-Black Friday sales.
Black Friday, which is the day after Thanksgiving, traditionally marks the beginning of Christmas shopping in the United States. Many retailers offer doorbuster sales as an incentive for shoppers.
With a sour economy this year, retailers are hoping to spark shoppers into hitting the stores before that to start their holiday shopping, CBS news reported. Major chain stores such as Toys “R” Us, Target, Walmart, Sears, Kmart, and JC Penney have started advertising their pre-holiday sales. Also, Amazon.com has some incentives for online shoppers.
