Craigslist Killer Autopsy Ordered after In-Cell Suicide

Craigslist killer autopsy ordered on Phillip Markoff after in-cell suicide. The suspect, aka the Craigslist killer, has been on suicide watch for some time. However, the watch was not strong enough as Saturday Night Markoff was found dead in his jail cell. Now, the authorities want an autopsy to find out a definitive cause of death.

The Craiglist killer suicide comes after allegations that he met women via the erotic services section of the popular online classifieds.

The strange thing about the whole case is that the suspect was successful. He was a second year med student at Boston University when he was accused of killing Julissa Brisman at a hotel.

According to CNN, Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis and Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said in a statement  ”Markoff was alone in his cell and all evidence collected thus far indicates that he took his own life. Nonetheless, as with all such cases, a comprehensive investigation will be conducted to determine the facts and circumstances surrounding his death.”

It’s sad that he took his own life.  Many were hoping to see the suspect put to justice.
