I don't want Palin one 72 year old's heartbeat away from the presidency. We've had eight years of an inarticulate simple minded president who was called to the highest office in the land by his God - and look where it got us. We can't afford to take a chance on this woman becoming president.

McCain chose her to court the votes of those feeble minded who will cling to their guns and religion while voting against their own best interests. And as Jack Abramoff said, "The beauty of it is that they don't even realize they are voting against their own best interests." That is, the republican strategy is to play up guns and religion to gain the vote of this poorly educated segment of our population. Would Jesus vote for war mongering haters? I don't think so. Jesus spoke of caring for the poor, the sick and the hungry. Obama's message is similar to the message of Christ. The message of the republicans to give more to the rich so that it will trickle down to the poor is not a Christian message - and we know by history that it doesn't work. McCain says the problem is greed - and his is correct. Why does he think giving more money to the greedy rich will improve the current economic situation? How can he espouse trickle down economics while admitting that greed is the root of the current problem?
