Its raining hurricanes this season. Gulf was soaked by Fay. Gulf was missed by Gustav. Now we will have to wait and see what Hanna and Ike have in store for Florida.
Hurricane Hanna appeared over islands Caicos and Turks. In fact so much was the strength that it knocked out power in these islands with storm winds averaging 80 mph.
Tropical Storm Ike has also formed midway between Florida and Africa.
Hannah is expected to bring shower to Bahamas this week. But whether it would pull up its show all the way to Florida is something we have to calculate through various weather models.
Hannah, if it strikes, it could be a category 2 storm by the middle of the week.
Hurricane Josephine is also in the process of gathering speed but we will have to watch it closely to see how it behaves over the next few days.
