Kings of Leon, the popular vocal group, canceled a concert in Missouri recently. Â Many were wondering why Kings of Leon would cancel their concert, but as it turns out, it could be that the artists made the decision because of pigeon poop. Â Yes, that’s right – you read that correctly.
It sounds like a definite unconventional reason to cancel a concert, but this did happen in St. Louis and was confirmed by CNN and People Magazine. Â The concert did start, but the musicians were doused by pigeons pooping from the rafters of the ampitheater that they were preforming in.
The band members are self-professed germophobes. Â Not only that, pigeon poop is toxic and can make you very ill. Â Had the musicians finished their performance, it’s said that at the rate they were experiencing the unwanted droppings – they would have been covered from head to toe!
It’s unfortunate that the venue wasn’t able to fix the problem quickly without having to allow the musicians to cancel their performance.
