The newly crowned Miss USA, Rima Fakih, is not without controversy as photos of her at a pole-dancing contest have surfaced online.

Fakih, 23, who was Miss Michigan, won the 2010 Miss USA Pageant on Sunday night, which aired live on NBC.  On Monday, the headlines are circulating that she won a pole-dancing contest for a Detroit radio station in 2007.

Fakih, of Dearborn, Michigan, was the first Arab-American woman to win the Miss USA Pageant.  She was born in Lebanon, moved to the U.S. as a baby, was raised in New York, and moved with her family to Dearborn in 2003, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Do you think this tarnishes her image as Miss USA? Were you already upset with the Miss USA Pageant’s racy lingerie photo shoot? Do you watch TV pageants?  Share your thoughts below.

    1. Its such as you read my thoughts! You seem to know so much about this, such as you wrote the guide in it or something. I believe that you simply could do with some percent to power the message house a little bit, however instead of that, that is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
