Playboy model and reality show star (“Girls Next Door,” “Kendra”) Kendra Wilkinson is attempting to halt the release of a sex tape video (titled “Kendra Exposed”) wherein she and a former boyfriend (not Hugh Hefner) are engaged in sexual activity. Â It is unclear yet if she will be successful, but Vivid Entertainment, the same people that brought you “Shauna Sand Exposed” and Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson’s sex tape videos, has a copy of the sex tape. Â Kendra Wilkinson acknowledges that she knew of the existence of the sex tape and, according to TMZ, claims she is doing everything she can to block the release of the “Kendra Exposed” video.
It would seem that Kendra Wilkinson made the sex tape shortly after turning 18 years old, so there isn’t any problems with the age of majority. Â But things have changed since 2005 (supposedly when the tape was made — which would make the nearly 25-year-old Kendra Wilkinson at least 19 when the tape was filmed. It is unclear if it was made before she began appearing in Playboy’s “Girls Next Door”). Â She’s married — to none other than Philadephia Eagles football player Hank Baskett. Â And possibly more to the point — she has a son, Hank Baskett IV.
Although some of Kendra Wilkinson’s actions in the past might seem objectionable to others, a sex tape video depicts her having sex, something she finds personally objectionable because she did not think the sex tape would ever be released — a decision made also before she got married to Hank Baskett and had a baby. Â Appearing naked for Playboy and appearing on “Girls Next Door” are a far cry from actual video images of sexual congress.
Wilkinson’s lawyer has sent a cease and desist letter to Vivid Entertainment to stop the release of “Kendra Exposed.”
Steve Hirsch, CEO of Vivid, believes that his company’s legal position is strong and “plans to release ‘Kendra Exposed’ within the next several weeks” on Vivid.com.
